S-BOX™ INSTALLATION OPTIONS
There are two alternative positions to install every S-Box™ pop-up unit; both will require the countertop to be pre-cut by your specialist supplier (just like a sink or a hob!) so please plan this in advance and include it in the worktop’s template and cutting process.
The two methods are either: SURFACE MOUNT or CHAMELEON (20mm below surface)
SURFACE MOUNT
Product drops into pre-cut hole. (see TECH DATA for dims) Suitable for any worktop thickness.
Collar sits on work surface.
3mm stainless steel heat-proof top is provided.
SURFACE MOUNT (FLUSH)
Product drops into pre-cut hole. (see TECH DATA for dims) Suitable for any worktop thickness.
Surface Collar sits in a shallow (2.5mm) rebate for a “flush” finish. 3mm stainless steel heat-proof top is provided.
The ultimate installation option is to position the unit at -20mm below the counter surface on a rebate or ‘shelf’. This enables the S-Box™ to be disguised in its location and deploy its full CHAMELEON skills!
CHAMELEON 'TRUE' REBATE IN 30mm MATERIAL
For worktops of 30mm thickness or greater (eg. Granite/Timber) Unit sits in a 20mm deep x 8mm wide rebate.

CHAMELEON 'FALSE' REBATE FOR 20mm MATERIAL
For worktops 20mm thick e.g. Composite / Quartz. Requires a rebate to be “created” by using a second layer material.
Mounting Collar sits on this false rebate.
A custom top is cut from extra material (up to max 12mm thick)see TECH DATA for full instructions
CHAMELEON 'FALSE' REBATE FOR 12mm MATERIAL
For worktops 12mm thick (e.g. Composite / Quartz) Requires a rebate to be “created” by using a second layer material, such as plywood.
Mounting Collar sits on this false rebate 20mm recessed
A custom top is cut from extra material (up to max 12mm) thick) see TECH DATA for full instructions
